A quote can name a freezer without answering the questions that determine whether it fits your site. Review the quoted configuration alongside the current specification sheet and installation manual.
Start with an exact match
Check that the model identifier and any options on the quote match the documents you are reading. A similar-looking cabinet, different door arrangement or regional electrical version is not enough. Save the document revision or access date with your notes.
Measure the journey, not just the destination
Make a worksheet for the delivery entrance, narrowest opening, turns and final position. Separately record the operating footprint, door or lid movement and service access that the chosen manufacturer documents require.
Do not apply one brand’s clearance figure to every freezer. Manufacturer manuals are organized by model family; find the document for the actual equipment. This guide deliberately does not supply a universal clearance number.

Flag professional sign-offs
Use the worksheet to prepare questions for a qualified installer or electrician—not to perform electrical or refrigerant work yourself. Do not turn an unresolved requirement into a purchase assumption because two plugs or cabinets appear similar.
Keep a decision record
For each candidate, save the dated quote, matching documents, open questions and the reason it remains on the shortlist. Written answers are easier to compare later than a collection of product screenshots.
